Eats lately + Stair Master Sweat + An accurate description of my life…

Happiest of Tuesdays to you guys! How are you doing this week? I hope really well! It’s been a few days since the last time I caught you up on things, so I figured today would be just the perfect day to do just that! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I’m still working on getting a good blogging routine down with this new working schedule so just bare with me as some weeks I get a chance to post more than others! I know, I’m keeping you on the edge of your seats with my random postings, right? πŸ˜‰ Just kidding! But, really–I totally appreciate your patience as I’m adjusting and figuring out how life works as an 8-5er again!

In other news, I hope that life is treating you well in this second week of April! I’ve had so much randomness going on that I may explode with all of it, which is why today’s post is packed to the brim with all kinds of topics and randomness. Maybe we should just get right into it! Let’s go!

One of my goals lately has been to get in a lot more green veggies. They’re my weak point, as I tend to choose fruits over veggies most days. BUT–I’ve been doing a lot better with them lately!

Exhibit A: ALL the guac toast for breakfast!

Also, green leaf turkey wraps with a side of hashed potatoes for lunch! Oh, and with guac on top. (Of course!)

My sister gave me her extra crockpot over the weekend and I was beyond excited to take it off of her hands for her. She said she’s using her Instant pot as her crockpot, so she didn’t need it anymore! It worked like a charm and the extra roominess of it was very much appreciated! She basically has a dream kitchen filled with ALL of the kitchen gadgets, dishes, pots/pans a girl could ever need, so I’m always down for her giveaways! πŸ˜‰ Thanks, Alicia!!

Besides greens, there are a few necessity food items I’ve basically been living off of lately. One would be Dave’s Killer Bread. Seriously, I haven’t tasted a flavor that I haven’t fallen in love with! It’s SOOOO good and totally worth the few extra dollars.

These “Kind Bars” have been my go-to work snack lately too!

Oh, and Blonde Vanilla Latte’s on tap, please! πŸ˜‰ Surviving this Monday-Friday job, one latte at a time! HA! But really though, waking up early is 10x better when a yummy drink is involved to kickstart the day! Nick and I have even been going extra early together for a quick little morning breakfast date before work. Those sure make for the best of mornings!

Glad I could get that off my chest with you guys.

Okay, okay–I’ve been doing more than eating and working lately too! Anyone else sweat like a crazy person when the stairmaster is involved? Geeeez louise that things burns!! I have a love-hate relationship with it. Also–I need one of these free weight stands at home (including the various weight options!). I vary my arm/ab workouts at the gym between 12.5 pounds to 15 pound weights. (Anyone else’s OCD die when the weights are out of order?? It drives me crazy and I always have to put them back exactly how they belong when I finish.

Our nightly walks by the river or around our neighborhood are keeping my legs extra happy lately.

Long walks just feel good to the soul and really wrap up the day in the best of ways.

An accurate description of my life lately…I need to find a laundry fairy-STAT! It’s never ending and there are only 2 of of us living in this household. How is even possible to have THAT much laundry?!
