Favorite Things Friday + "Girl Wash Your Face"…

Hey guys!! How are you today? Happy, happy Fri-YAY to you!! I hope this week has treated you well in every way possible! We’ve officially made it to the weekend, and I’m just as excited as I was this time last week! HA! 😉

I have a few things to talk with you about today, including some Favorite Things Friday AND my new found love for the book, “Girl Wash Your Face”.

Should we just jump right on into the good stuff? I say let’s do it!

I’ve been on a favorite finds kick lately. Of course, you have to know that I’m going to share those things with you, right?! RIGHT! First on the list is definitely my new favorite breakfast! I’ve always loved oatmeal, and with working away from home now for a few months, I’ve needed something quick and easy. Insert: Kodiak Cakes Oatmeal/flapjacks/muffins. I just stocked up yesterday at Target with these and I’m already a #1 fan of the cinnamon maple flapjack on-the-go. All you do is add a tiny bit of water, toss it in the microwave and breakfast is served. Did I mention they smell heavenly? Because, they do. Have you tried these before?

I’ve also been loving this Kite Hill dip. If you’re a fan of dip of any sort, you desperately NEED to have this chive favorite dip. It’s perfect for carrots, crackers, chips–you name it. It’s also dairy free, as it’s made from almonds!

Honey Lattes from Blue Sail Coffee in downtown Little Rock=LOVE. If only my coffee in real life-everyday looked just as pretty…

Instead it looks more like this, but still just as delicious! The cute SPIbelt cup doesn’t hurt either! 😉

When I’m not drinking coffee, (I stick to 1 cup per day!) I’m downing these Doctor D’s drinks. The apple is my favorite, but I’m sure the other flavors are just as good too! Sparkling waters and probiotics are totally my jam lately. Anybody else?

Also, this salad dressing is the perfect topping to any bowl of greens. It’s subtle but still packed with yummy flavor. I used to be a strictly ranch-only girl–but I’ve branched out with age. This is definitely in my top 3 favorite salad dressings.

Pizza-Park-Picnic Dates. (Say that 3 times fast, mmmk?) They’re a thing and totally my favorite way to spend a dinner date with my favorite guy.

My early morning run dates are happening more and I’m not complaining for a second. I’ve found I’m better at waking up early enough for these runs later on into the work week, but when they happen–I never regret a single second of it. 3 miles is just about my most favorite way to start the morning off. Plus–I almost always forget I already got a workout in for the day half way into the afternoon! It’s fabulous!

But really…how can anyone NOT love views like these? Perfectly pink and if you look close enough, you can still see the moon hanging out there! Perfection.

Okay, so I mentioned “Girl Wash Your Face” above, and I hope you’ve made it this into my blogpost to catch this part. I absolutely 10000000% am in love with this new read of mine. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it, so of course I had to dive in. I literally had to text myself notes on my run yesterday as I was listening to it, because it was THAT good! So many good little nuggets to take away and keep for later that I couldn’t resist. If you’re looking for a good personal development read to help boost your mental mindset forward–give this book a try. I’m 6 chapters in, so I still have plenty more to go, but I’m all in and addicted. No shame! I’ll do a recap here soon on it, and probably sooner rather than later because I see myself finishing it up in the next few days! I have the audible version and Rachel Hollis is the amazing author behind it. She also narrates the audio version, which I love because I feel like she’s just sitting right next to me chatting all things “Girl Wash Your Face”! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this read, and can’t wait for you to check it out! (If you haven’t already done that, of course!)

Alright guys, that’s a wrap on some of my favorite things lately and my new audiobook! Thanks as always for stopping by my little corner of the internet! You have no idea how much I appreciate your visits and time here. Enjoy your Friday in every way and soak up ALL the sunshine, wherever you are today!
