How is this my first blog post in May? Somehow the past few weeks have totally gotten away from me! I’ve been busy updating my YouTube channel, so I’m in between finding a good balance between blogging and vlogging. I honestly love both the same, so for now, I’m just going to keep doing my best at keeping both updated as best as possible!

Anyways, happy Saturday to you! How was your work week? I hope it was a really good one. We’ve been swimming in rain for a few days, so I can’t wait to see some sunshine tomorrow and fingers crossed ALL next week, per the forecast!

I’ve got so many things to tell you, so let’s just jump right in:

A few points to discuss first:

Have you ever taken a personality test before? If you have I’d love for you to tell me in the comments below what you were! I think they’re so fun and pretty crazy how accurate they can be (for the most part)! On the Myers-Briggs test, I am an INFJ.

These Smart Sweets “Sweet Fish” are too good not to share with you. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a bag next time you see them! I buy mine at Fresh Market but they’re also sold at Whole Foods too!

I got into the gym this week and BOY WAS I SORE! I did leg day and I’m currently typing this with a foam roller close by because apparently, I need to get back to my leg/arm day routine STAT. This machine gets me every single time! Anyone else?

Legs up the wall = The best way to recover from anything in life.

I’m addicted to runs by the river. Can’t stop and won’t stop. Something about running near the water is just the most healing and refreshing way to break in a sweat.

I got the cutest goodie bag from Planet Fitness! I’m so excited for my workouts there! I’ve been for a run and a stretch session and it was really great! I love the space and the not-so-crowded feel to it! I can’t wait to show you guys more of my workouts there! Plus, that massage table is calling my name!

When I go to the gym, I try to challenge myself to fill up my water bottle and drink at least half of it by the time my workout is over. It’s such a good way to hydrate and keep myself focused on a short-term goal.

In the meantime though, I’ll just keep obsessing over these Matt’s Bakery Peanut Butter cookies that I can’t seem to keep away.
