I’ve grown in so many ways since jumping in headfirst to this whole “blogging gig” and haven’t looked back since hitting the submit button on my very first post 6ish years ago. I absolutely love sharing my passions with my readers and look forward to sharing new posts each and every week.
Let’s start with the basics: I’m 32 years old, born and raised in central Arkansas. We just recently decided to pack up our life and move down to our happy place, the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida in September of 2021. We’re calling a little stretch on the gulf sandwiched between Laguna Beach and 30A our home for now and loving every second of the sandy life.
I’m a runner and have been for about 15 years to date. I’ve completed various 5k’s, 10k’s, 4 half marathons, and 1 full marathon. I’m also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Arkansas. My boyfriend, Nick, and I have flipped houses for the past 9 years, ya know “HGTV style”. We love to create homes instead of just updating “houses” for the families that purchase the homes we are so fortunate to be involved in. On top of all of the home renovation adventures we’ve taken on in years past, I currently work as a freelance social media content creator. I absolutely adore what I do each day for my clients, whether it’s creating social media posts, designing graphics, updating websites or creating SEO friendly blog content. I have my hand in a little bit of everything in the digital marketing world and I wouldn’t change a single thing about it.
While we wait for tides to turn in the real estate world, (hello crazy real estate market!) you can find us spending our days soaking up all the sunshine with our sweet senior pup, Cooper, as we blog/vlog our way through our latest adventure into the sandy life.
I also tackle a consistent running schedule, yoga routine, strength training as well as a healthy nutrition lifestyle. A “healthy” living approach is most important to me in the sense that “healthy” has multiple meanings in my book. I believe wholeheartedly that being so-called “healthy” involves not only your body but your mind and soul as well. I choose to live the healthiest and happiest lifestyle for me that’s filled with fun and balance with a few (or more than a few) chocolate chips every now and then.
So, what can you expect from my blog? I write about anything and everything going on in our lives at the current moment. That can change literally by the minute, so hang on tight and come by often. You never know what next project we’ll have on our hands and just how crazy it might get. From training for my next marathon, to taste testing my latest food review, or sharing what a day in life of a social media manager looks like, I can guarantee I’m always up to something and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
