This week is flying by, right? How can it already be Thursday? For some reason, my days have been all kinds of messed up all week long and I can’t for the life of me figure out what day it is. That’s most likely because we’re in the midst of our big moving week so things are a little bit crazier than normal. But, that’s somewhat always the case for us. 😉
I’ve got a bunch of randomness to share with you today, so let’s get right into it!
I got outside for a 4 mile run yesterday. It felt amazing to run by the river and really push my legs for a bit. All sweat sessions are welcome, especially lately as it’s been my form of release during our crazy world of flipping. It’s my time to feel somewhat normal and more myself as most days I feel like we’re running like chickens with our heads cut off from one project to another. But, this run–felt so much better than even expected.
I was extra excited to see my paces too! 8:39 for mile 3 isn’t too shabby in my book! I’ve never been an insanely fast runner by any means, so when I see 8’s for a mile pace, I get all kinds of excited! There for a little bit, it seriously felt like someone turned my wheels on and I was going and it couldn’t have felt better! Aren’t those the best kind of runs? I sure think so!
I refilled the coffee pot with this new (to me) coffee! I have had various Newman’s Own products, but never their coffee until this week. It’s REALLY good! Plus, I love that they do so much good for charity too! Win-Win!
Current fav combo:
Veggie sushi hash a special place in my heart.
💕
Crockpot win last night for dinner! Lemon-Garlic chicken hit the spot and was filled with tons of lemony-garlic flavor!
This past weekend was The Barkley Marathon and I couldn’t stop refreshing this guy’s Twitter page. It was SO interesting and had me glued to the screen for updates. If you haven’t watched the Netflix documentary on this, you need to add it to your list! These guys/girls are the most hardcore of runners I’ve ever seen. I can’t even imagine what they go through for training, much less the actual race itself. Spoiler alert for 2019 race: No one won this year or even made it to the 5th loop! I was holding out hope for Karel who made it to the 4th loop but the conditions were just too intense. They all did AMAZING though and really toughed out some crazy intense weather in those TN mountains.
Lunch on-the-go was delicious! Mediterranean pasta salad is so delicious!
These Superfruit Smoothies from Panera have been on repeat lately and I don’t hate it.
I’ve also been having cravings for hummus lately and this was a score for snack time! It comes with pretzels and was the perfect amount of saltiness to fill my snack craving!
I’ve been downing water like it’s my job lately too! This giant water bottle helps a ton too! I fill it up twice a day and get in plenty of hydration!
And…it’s officially time to get out of the apartment this week. I packed up the car yesterday with all of our clothes in the closet. It was odd because somehow Nick only ended up with 4 hanging bags of clothes while I ended up with 12+…I mean…how does that happen? Goodness, gracious…and I seriously just cleared out a ton for donations! I’m not quite sure where all of these clothes even came from! But, let the officially moving fun begin! We’re dodging the rain and finally getting it all done tomorrow so wish us luck! I can’t believe we’re moving into this house as it’s not 100% “liveable” just yet, but we’re gonna go with the flow and just wing it as best as we can for the time being. It’s not like we have much of a choice otherwise though…;)

Have you watched The Barkley Marathon documentary yet? If yes, did you catch anything from this past weekend? What were your thoughts? Would you ever do it?
