Hi friends! How’s your Monday been? I hope well!
I’m starting a pretty busy work week but wanted to pop on here and share a little life update! Nothing big has been going on in my world. Lots of this and a little bit of that but nothing ground breaking.
I did end up downloading the oh so popular book “It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover. (Affiliate Link Included) I’ve heard nothing but good things and have seen this book EVERYWHERE so I figured I’d give it a try. As you guys know, I’m more of a rom-com reader so I’m not 100% sure if this will be my thing but I’m going to give it a good try! So here goes nothing!

I’m also starting a new training plan for a sub 25 minute 5k! It’s been a long time since I’ve properly trained for a 5k time so I figured now is the time! I’ve been dealing with the worst ever foot pain the past few months — ever since the half-marathon where my shoes were a little too snug and caused seriously bad foot issues. My arches have been aching, my actual toes have been hurting in my shoes, and running long distances just have NOT been my jam lately. So, I figured I’d pop into the running store this week, grab some comfier shoes and hit the road again with a new training plan. I’m going to use this one from Peloton and see how it goes! I haven’t picked out my 5k just yet as far as what race I’m training for specifically but I figured I could get going and pick one out when the time feels right. I love the trainers on Peloton so I think it’s going to be a great way to break in the new shoes and get back to running.

I’ve been beating the crazy heat here lately with my daily must-have Liquid I.V.’s! The strawberry is fabulous and smells just like old school kool-aid. It makes ALL the difference in staying hydrated for me and helps me keep those heat headaches at bay. I can’t recommend them enough! So, so good! Is it hot where you are too? I know back home in Arkansas the heat index has been in the 110’s to 115’s for a while with no rain in sight! UGH! Here in Florida it’s been HUMID on HUMID every day! So, a lot of hydration is an absolute must!

I’ve also been trying out Hello Fresh lately! It’s new-to-me but I’ve been wanting to get a little bit more creative in the kitchen so these have made all the difference! I plan on putting together a good review of it this week after I make my next batch of meals. Have you tried a meal prep service before? This is my first official one besides the meal kits from Fresh Market so I’m a 100% newbie!
*PS Feel free to drop your email down in the comments below so I can send you a FREE box!! That way you can try it out for yourself and see what you think!

One thing that hasn’t changed though — my love for fresh fruit yogurt bowls for breakfast. The granola crunch is the perfect topper to these and tastes SO good!
I won the cutest ever giveaway the other day from Manatee Coffee! They sent the most adorable package and I’m in love with it all! I never (I repeat NEVER) win giveaways but love entering them so I was absolutely thrilled when their social media manager messaged me on Instagram the other day telling me I won! Have you ever seen such a cute giveaway prize? I thought it was just the best! Especially the HydroFlask water bottle! YAY!

Other than lots of eats and prepping for new running schedules we’ve been beaching it up per the usual as much as we can! The water has been VERY sea-weedy’s lately so we’re definitely ready for this season to move its way on out of town. I know it’s healthy for the beaches and everything but we miss our crystal clear emerald coast. 😉

Alright you guys! I’m off to catch the new season of The Bachelorette tonight! Are you going to watch? I’m shamelessly tuning in because after skipping for YEARS I somehow got sucked into it last season and find myself ready to watch this one too. I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m just going with it! HA!
Hope you guys enjoy the rest of your day!
Talk soon!
