So, apparently Christmas snuck up on me again this year. I may or may not be making my Christmas gift list as we speak right now and the list seems to keep growing, as it always does. But, maybe you’re like me and you tend to wait until December 24 13th to get your shopping going. If you are, welcome to “Procrastinater’s Anonymous”–I’m so happy you’re here! 😉
Maybe you have a fitness lover on your Christmas list and you’re just completely out of ideas for something they may want or even need this year. If that’s the case, I’m your girl and I’ve definitely got you covered.
Let’s jump right into my last minute Christmas gift guide for the fitness lovers in your life. I hope these help you out in some way or another.
((I’ve linked the websites to each of these in the title so you can shop away!))
((P.S. Nick, each of these items may or may not be on my personal wish-list! ;))
One) A gift certificate to their favorite yoga studio, barre classes or spin classes! Most places have great holiday deals going on where you can bundle up a few classes for a discount. I promise, these will be such a welcomed gift because these classes can get a little pricey if you’re a regular! If you’re in central Arkansas, Barefoot is my absolute favorite yoga studio and they’re running an amazing special on their classes right now! You could even grab yourself a class or two! 😉
Two) Jaybird Sport Bluetooth Headphones–These headphones are absolutely amazing quality and are hands down worth the price if you have a runner on your list! Bluetooth headphones are the biggest deal right now because cords are so….2015? Wireless all the way! These also come in cute colors, so what more could you need, right?
Three) S’ ip by S’well Waterbottle–Functional and cute gifts go a long way, I promise! These water bottles are no exception. These bottles are stainless steel and are known for their ability to keep your drinks hot or cold for lengthy amounts of times. Ever heard of Yeti’s? Yes, these are similar but WAY cuter and WAY cheaper! SCORE!
Four) Regenerous Designs fashion headbands–I’m an absolute major fan of shopping small, especially at the holidays! These adorable and quality handmade headbands will hopefully make it on your list this year, because they make for the most perfect gift! Alyssa, the creator behind Regnerous Designs is fabulous and sends the sweetest handwritten notes with each purchase. She takes fabrics that are discarded from large fabric companies and upcycles them to make the cutest and softest headbands that you just can’t find anywhere else! Eco-Friendly and made with lots of love! Absolutely LOVE this gift idea and I bet your fitness lover will too! This look can go straight from the office to the gym which is basically the best thing ever!
Five) True North Collection Headbands–These headbands had to make my list as well because I have the hardest time finding headbands to stay put when I’m running mile after mile. I’m willing to bet your runner/walker/cycylist/yogi friend probably has the exact same problem. Sweating + Crazy hair + Intense workouts = Bad combination. These super cute headbands solve all of those problems in one AND they’re adorable to put the cherry on top of the cake! Plus, they’re priced so reasonable, you can add a few to your shopping cart and it won’t even break the bank! How awesome is that? I can promise you they’ll be back for more than one anyways, because they’re THAT amazing!
Six) Register them for their upcoming race! Running may be a relatively cheaper sport to take up, however races can definitely put a dent in the ol’ bank account. So, when someone willingly covers your registration fee as a gift, we runners jump for joy! Just make sure they’re actually planning on doing the race and have plenty of time to train for it. Surprise marathons here would probably be no good if it’s planned for January 1! 🙂
Seven) Spi Belt Running Accessory Belt– To get your runner ready for their upcoming race that you registered them for, why not throw in a super cute running accessory that will save their lives?! I came across these SpiBelts this year and FELL IN LOVE! I never realized how handy it would be to have one of these guys on my runs, until I took mine out for a spin. Needless to say, I haven’t run without mine since. You really do need to carry quite a few things on runs and pockets in your shorts just don’t do the job. Plus, I’m not a fan of arm bands to carry my phone because they are so heavy and awkward. My SpiBelt has helped me SO much with carrying my fuel, phone, water, and my ID all in one place! Plus, they don’t budge like you’d think at all and stay snug in place the entire run! I ran my marathon this past October with mine and definitely wouldn’t have finished without it.
BONUS: Use my Code Chelsea2016 for an extra goodie bag with your purchase!
Eight) Fitness Planner–This has quickly become my most favorite planner I’ve ever had. ((And trust me, I’ve gone through my fair share. #plannernerd)) Your fitness lover will be able to log their workouts and keep track of their stats here! Plus, they can schedule their future races, or even use it as their regular day planner for life in general. Double win!
Nine) Believe I Am Training Journal–This may seem just like #8 but it’s actually totally different. This journal will become your runner friend’s best friend and they probably will thank you a million times for such an amazing gift! Why is it so awesome? Well, it’s basically a training log where you can track your miles, but it also is FILLED with tons and tons of tips from professional runners. It has motivational quotes throughout, stretching techniques and tips and workout recommendations packed into one super cute leather bound book. I cherish mine and love to look back and read through my training logs to see just how far I’ve come along the way. These also come in all types of colors too!
Ten) Lululemon Running Gloves–I can tell you from personal experience, running in the winter weather is basically impossible without gloves. Your hands freeze and it’s just no fun at all. These soft and reflective gloves will be the perfect gift for your fitness lover! They’ll keep them warm, plus keep them seen if they run before the sun or after dark!
Eleven) Run.Fast.Eat.Slow Cookbook–If there’s something you haven’t guessed already, us runners sure do love to eat. Running so many miles can leave you hungry like no other, so what could be better than a cookbook created BY a runner? Yep, this one wins and is definitely on my list this year. Shalane Flanagan is one of the most well-known runners here in the U.S. and constantly wows everyone in each race she competes in. This cookbook will be one of your fitness lovers most prized possessions if you pick it just for them!
You can thank me later on this one, after they cook you an amazing meal to thank you for your generosity. 😉
Twelve) Affirmats Yoga Mats–Oh how I love this last gift on our list. These yoga mats come with personalized affirmations for the yogi on your list and will definitely put a smile on their face each time they roll out their yoga mat to practice. You can personalize it say whatever you’d like OR they have all kinds of pre-made affirmations printed on some and they come in the cutest of colors. You’ll make your yogi extra happy with these thoughtful and quality-made yoga mats that will be sure to last for a very long time!
And that’s a wrap ((get it? ;)) on my Christmas Gift Guide for 2016! I hope you found a few ideas here as they’re sure to make for a happy fitness lover come Christmas Day!
