I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a lover of all things fudge! I’m especially a lover of something sweet at the end of the day too. So, I’ve found a delicious alternative to the ol’ extra sugary/buttery kind! (Don’t get me wrong, that stuff sure is yummy, but it just doesn’t do the best for your body.)
Let me tell you everything you’ll need for this tasty but healthy sweet treat!
Total Time: 25-30 minutes
Total Set Time: 20 minutes
Total Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 mashed banana
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
*Optional* Add nuts, or dark chocolate drizzle on top
Step 1) Combine all ingredients in medium sized sauce pan. Heat for 30 seconds on low heat, mixing all ingredients together until smooth.
2) Remove from heat and mix together for 30 seconds until completely smooth.
3) Pour mix into stainless steel non-stick loaf pan, small baking pan or muffin tin pan.
4) Place in freezer to set for 20-25 minutes. Remove, serve and enjoy!!
(For storing, keep fudge in freezer or refrigerator to stay thick consistency. Due to the coconut oil, the mix melts if not kept cold.)
As always, From Chelsea!
