Happy Thursday!
Just so you know, I had to think really hard before typing out what day it is because somehow this week has been a complete blur and I need a calendar in front of my face to know what day it is. HA! Surely I’m not alone. 😉
Anyways, we’re so close to the weekend — are you just as excited as I am?
For today’s post, I want to share a FOOD REVIEW! I have some really great things up my sleeve for food reviews coming your way and I thought I’d start it all off with a serious bang for review #1 of 2021! [YAY] We’re talking ALL about Trader Joe’s “Grainless Granola”!
*I want to preface this post with saying, while YES, I am all sorts of obsessed with Trader Joe’s and love spending hours on end browsing their grocery aisles, these food reviews are my 100% honest review. These posts are NOT sponsored {welcomed by all who sponsor things but this is NOT sponsored} and I am NOT being paid to share my thoughts here. I just love to read reviews of products before I try something myself to see if it’s worth the hype or not. So, trust me when I say that these reviews are my raw and truly transparent opinions of each product I bring here to my blog. No pressure, just sharing my thoughts on whatever lands here.
Okay, so anyone else a fan of yogurt bowls? I’m talking big scoops of yogurt in a bowl topped with something extra crunchy layered with fresh fruits and a drizzle of honey? I KNOW I AM! I’m willing to bet you probably are too, if you’ve stopped to read today’s post.

I usually make myself a delicious bowl of this type of sweet goodness pre-workout and it does the trick every time to give me all the energy I need to power through.
Well, I had heard raving reviews about this “grainless granola” at TJ’s the past few weeks/months. While, I’m usually a Purely Elizabeth fan through and through, I decided it might be time to branch out and give this new granola a try. If it comes from TJ’s it probably can’t be THAT bad, right?
Turns out, I was 100% right and stopped in my tracks first bite. This granola is a total WIN.

My favorite part of this bag of crunchy gold is it’s seriously shocking ingredient list. Take a look for yourself! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when it said it was “grainless” because I thought…well, what could even be in it then? Fact — I’m not a food scientist for a reason because they hit it out of the park with this ingredient combo.
Y’all. I was seriously floored to see it’s little tiny list of ingredients. The flavor is SO good, you’d think you’d have to have 3849284 tasty ingredients to make it taste as good as it does. It has the perfect amount of sweet and salty to it and the best crunch of ANY GRANOLA I’VE EVER TRIED! The pumpkin seeds make this mix, in my opinion. I’m giving this a 10/10 because I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to any other kind after trying this granola. I’m so happy I branched out and tried this because it paid off and my taste buds are dancing as we speak.

Oh and for my vegan or gluten free friends, YES– it’s that too!! Say it with me — WOW!
The next best thing when it comes to this granola is it’s price! It’s $3.99! Can you believe it? I’ve been paying well over $5-6 or MORE (yikes) for the same sized bag of granola of other kinds for all this time. Another reason why Trader Joe’s takes the cake for grocery stores.
Now, run to the store and definitely don’t walk and snag yourself a bag of this stuff if you haven’t given it a try yet. I can’t recommend it more to you because I KNOW you’ll love it. Unless you’re not a granola fan, then — maybe you won’t like it. But, I am willing to bet you should give it a try and let your tastebuds in on this best kept TJ’s secret that I can’t keep to myself any longer. It’s SO good.
So, now the question is — should I go make myself a bowl of crunchy yogurt granola and honey with fruit for breakfast after hitting publish on this post? The answer is YES. Yes, I should. So, I will.
That’s all for today’s food review. But I have some questions for YOU:
What is your go-to breakfast lately?
Have you tried this granola? If yes, thoughts? If no, what type of granola do you usually go for?
What’s one thing you’ve done for YOURSELF this week so far in terms of self-care?

Wishing we had a TJs closer to us. 😊
Yes!! I don’t know how we’ve lived without one for all this time. 🙂 If you ever need me to pick up some good stuff for you, tell me and I will!! 😊
This looks incredible. Would you say it has big clusters or is it mostly broken up small bits?? Wondering if its worth the drive to TJ’s for this?
Hey Lindsay! It’s honestly a happy mix between a few bigger chunks and then smaller pieces tossed in. But, the bigger chunks easily break up so it’s not like you’re taking a big bite into a huge ball of granola. 🙂 I’d definitely say it’s worth the trip because I know you’ll find more to toss into your basket while you’re there. If you try it out, definitely let me know! I can’t wait to hear what you think!
Have an amazing day!!
Darn … I really like the big clusters. I have been getting granola lately that is all broken tiny pieces … basically like oats toasted and coated in sweet goodness! 🙁
Ohhh gotcha! Well, I’d definitely still give this one a try because it may be better than you expect! 😉 Have a great weekend ahead, Lindsay!!
I’ve been eyeing this but haven’t bought it yet. I end up impulse buying granola there and end up with so much. That being said, I am totally getting this next time I go!
I am right there with you but the impulse buying! I hope you try this granola next time you stop by TJ’s! Definitely let me know if you like it!! Have a great day, Jacqueline!!
So funny, I almost bought that the other day! I’ll have to pick it up the next time I’m in.
I just moved to the US from Canada and shopping at Trader Joe’s is such a treat (We don’t have it back home)!
Oh, how exciting you’re new to the US!! Welcome, welcome!!! I am obsessed with TJ’s! We just got one here a little over a year ago and I seriously don’t know how I lived without one for so long. HA! It’s my favorite grocery store for sure.
It is delightful! I’ve been adding it to fruit salad and it doesn’t get soggy. It adds a great salt note to counter the sweet, and crunchy to counteract the soft. It’s just excellent! I love your review!
