Today’s blog post is coming to you from my cozy office surrounded by all the ice just outside my house. We were awake this morning around 2:30 AM to the sound of so much sleet and ice coming down. Our local weather people actually called it “Thunder Sleet”…Never heard of it but we’ll take all the winter weather we can get in the south. So, I’ve got my coffee and I’m ready to get to today’s blog with you!

Today, I’m sharing a few of my favorite things lately that I just can’t get enough of.
Let’s get right into it!
I absolutely loved loved loved the new Gabe Grunewald documentary “Courage to Run” on Discovery +! I can’t get enough of Chip & Joanna but combine it with the amazing story of Gabe Grunewald and I knew I had to watch it. Grab your tissues because obviously it’s got some sadness to it, but wow was it inspiring. Her story is so heartbreaking but brings so much to light when it comes to fighting a rare cancer diagnosis like she did. Go watch this one ASAP!
To go along with another recommended “show”, I am loving the “Headspace Guide to Meditation” series on Netflix! I have been a big fan of Andy Puddicombe (the voice behind Headspace) for years so this was right up my alley! It’s really great to watch before bed too!
I love magazines, especially these three: Southern Living, Magnolia Home and Better Homes & Gardens! If you’ve ever thought to yourself “Does anyone actually still read these things?” It’s me. I do! Ha! My mom typically sends me a few that come to her through a subscription and its like Christmas every time a new one comes in.

We are loving the smell (and the look) of this “Paddywax” candle from Whole Foods. It smells divine and it makes our whole house smell so good! It’s a soy candle too so it should last a good amount of time.

Sweet Lauren’s chocolate chip cookies and a big glass of almond milk makes for quite the sweet treat. The best part? I baked these in our Ninja Foodi and they came out perfect! We’re obsessed with that kitchen staple now and don’t know how we ever lived without it! I literally never turn on our oven these days which is so nice.

I know we still have a few more weeks left of winter but our front door is ready for spring. This new door hanger from one of my favorite small businesses here in Hillcrest (The Full Moon) is my all time favorite door hanger we’ve ever had. Isn’t it so bright and happy? I absolutely love it and think it adds the perfect amount of color to our front door.

Last but not least I’ve been obsessed with the “Fetch Rewards” app lately. I found it through one of my favorite bloggers (Hellospoonful) and started using it last month and haven’t stopped since. I’m really terrible at keeping up with my receipts (self-employed life) but this has helped me SO MUCH! I just scan in each receipt (from everywhere we go!) and get points for each one that add up to give me gift cards to all kinds of different places online and physical stores too. You can use my code below “61Y9D” to get a huge jump start on your own points with 3,000! I’m already at 6,000 myself and can’t wait to change them in for a gift card soon!

Alright guys, that’s all for today! I’m off to my morning zoom meeting for work. What was life like before zoom existed? HA! 😉
Have an amazing Thursday!!
Questions for you:
Does it snow a lot where you live? Do you get actual snow days where your city shuts down or do you guys just treat life like normal when winter weather hits?
What’s your favorite app on your phone that you use daily?
What shows are you binging on lately? Any new favorites I need to add to the list?

Gonna try the Fetch Rewards! 😃 One of the apps I use daily is Duolingo… Trying to learn a bit of Spanish. 😉
I can’t wait for you to try it! I hope you love it too!! And that’s so awesome about learning Spanish! I took 4 years of it in high school so I remember a teeny tiny bit and I really loved it!! I need a refresher though! HA! 🙂 Have a great day, Brandi!!
