Well, it’s done. Christmas that is.

I can’t believe we’re already here but 2020 is on her way out! Can I get a “Hallelujah“”? Y’all this year was one for the books. Literally. We’ll never forget it.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! While it may have looked a little different this year and we may have missed a few of our family members getting together, I hope it still was a good holiday and break away from it all for you and yours!
Let me start off this post by saying that I somehow completely dropped the ball on BLOGMAS the very last few days because all of a sudden Christmas hit 100mph! Anybody else feel that way the last few moments leading up to the 25th? Whew. We family-timed our way from Christmas Eve all the way to the weekend. In between wrapping up work and Christmas shopping, the last week or so has been a total blur. I also somehow completely failed at getting a family Christmas picture. I’ll go ahead and take “failed blogger of the year award” for $200, Alex. (LOL)
Anyways, my cute niece is growing up so fast and had such a teen-like gift theme! Talk about all the makeup a girl could ever need and gift cards galore! We also had the yummiest of yummy Christmas dinners featuring all my favorites. I seriously look forward to this meal all year long! 😉 Any other deviled egg fans out there? My sister and I are the only ones in my family who eat them, but that just means more for us!
My mom and I made ALL the fudge on Christmas Eve. Don’t judge me when I say I had fudge for breakfast that day. How can you NOT when it looks this delicious?
My mom’s dog Henry wore his Sunday best for the holiday weekend. How cute is his little bow-tie?

Meanwhile, Cooper and Joey snuggled up by our mini Christmas tree all weekend long. I sure do love my little senior pups in all their napping glory.

And, my step-mom, Brandi, made the best ever pizza dip! The little pepperoni’s were my favorite part! I can’t wait to try to re-create this recipe! It was amazingly good!

My niece made a melty Gingerbread house. I still think it turned out pretty good! 😉 I just probably wouldn’t have her quit her day job or anything over it.

After all the Christmas-y fun, it was back to my early morning wake up calls! Who waits until the very last minute to take her yearly real estate CE courses? This girl. All 7 hours of them. But, I passed! YAY! I can always count on my procrastination to get the job done. (Do as I say, not as I do.)

Then, it was time for all the fresh air to get a break away from the computer for a bit. Just in the past two days we’ve logged over 6 miles with walks, so I’d say we’re wrapping up the year the best way we know how.

Oh, and we are officially obsessed with the new Ninja Foodi! We made our first meal with it and it turned out absolutely perfect! I don’t suggest air frying an entire meal because not everything fit all at once, but overall I’d give it an A++ for flavor and deliciousness!

Alright, I’m off to finish up work and get ready to dive into New Years Eve day! I hope you have the best Wednesday night!
Questions for you:
How was your Christmas? Tell me all about it! Did you make any yummy recipes?
What are your New Years plans?
Are you a procrastinator or do you plan ahead and tackle your to-do list early?

Are those chicken wings that you made in the air fryer? Note to self: I need to try that.
I think that having fudge for breakfast one or two days a year is a must for a balanced diet;-)
You are so right!! 😘
And OMG—yes!! You absolutely have to try it! So simple to make and sooo flavorful!
LOVE deviled eggs too! ❤️
