We happened to squeeze in a lot over the weekend which made it fly by even faster than normal!
PS I hope you had a good one!
We started off Saturday morning with coffee, complete with almond milk foam on top. Now, I can’t remember what normal coffee was like before my little milk frother. It just adds the perfect amount of fluff.

Then, we went off to the gym to get in a workout. I did upper body and abs! I’m still loving these Nike’s!

I refueled with this super quick and easy chicken caesar salad wrap!

Then, we headed out to my sister’s for the afternoon because my brother-in-law is building a new pantry for their kitchen. We also caught up on a few basketball games while were there! Somehow I didn’t snap a single picture while we were there but we left before the storms rolled through and made in home just in time to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team win their game! They’re playing in the Elite 8 game tonight!! We’re still dancin’ you guys! After Alabama lost last night, we officially are the last SEC team in the tournament, so no pressure!
Nick grew up playing basketball all day every day and I grew up with the most Kentucky basketball obsessed mom so basketball runs in our blood.

Sunday morning started off with a delicious yogurt and granola bowl. It always hits the spot with the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch.

Then, we went for a 3.5 mile walk around the neighborhood. It couldn’t have been prettier out and it felt like the most ideal spring day. We’re just trying to soak up these 60 degree and sunny days without the humidity for as long as we can!

Then, we stopped to pick up some sushi for a quick and easy lunch.

Cooper hopped in his little chair on the front porch and I decided to join him for some vitamin D.

Until it was time for his hair cut. I do them at home because it’s just easier that way. He gets really anxious so I just feel better being able to keep him at home for a hair cut and a bath. His breed sheds their winter coat each year around this time so once I start seeing balls of fluff collecting in the corners of our house, I know it’s time for a good cut. He hates for his feet to be touched so I don’t get to trim them very well, but I did my best for what he’d let me get to. I also put a tiny dab of lavender oil on his nose to help his anxiety. It works wonders! I learned that trick from a groomer he used to go to when he was a puppy. Post-haircut we dipped him and Joey in the bath to rinse off all the dander. Joey wouldn’t let me near him with the camera though. 😉 And, those post-bath zoomies are the funniest, especially as he gets older.
After giving the dogs a bath, I needed some serious stretching so I decided it was time to take my first Peloton Yoga class! It was SO good and I can’t wait to add more of these to my weekly workout routine.

I wrapped up the night with another mixed veggie protein bowl! When I’m on a roll, I just keep it going until I’m sick of it and move onto the next favorite meal of the week.

I’ve got a busy day of work today so I better hop of the blog and get started! Here’s hoping for another productive work week and running workouts as I get ready for my first 10k of the year this weekend! YAY!
