House #2 was a lucky find for us. You can’t quite tell by these “before” pictures, but overall it really was such a great house even before we were able to put our touch on it. When we came across this one when we were in the market for the second flip house, we took one look in the window and knew it had to be ours ASAP. Come to find out though, this one was going to be a whole new rodeo compared to the first flip. One reason being that after the inspection, we found out the downstairs AC was not working and the upstairs furnace wasn’t working. No good. While foreclosures can sometimes be an amazing deal on the front end, it’s always a tough call because banks don’t do any sort of repair negotiation. Either you want it, or not. So, after some thinking we decided to still go for it and would be able to budget in the repairs in the long run. The location of this one was too good to pass up being in West Little Rock and in already pretty decent condition to begin with.
This house was 4 bed, 2/1/2 bath and 2680 square feet. This was almost 1000 more square feet than our first house so we knew we were in for some serious work. But, with a starting price of $142,000 we knew we could make this house amazing and couldn’t wait to get started.
So, with that, I present you with the “Before” pictures of our 2nd renovation project–“Breckenridge”.
This room was what we peeked into when we first looked at it. We couldn’t believe the size of it. These pictures don’t even do it justice. Those floors though…were priority #1 to be changed as soon as we could get our hands on them.
Definitely keep an eye out for the “After” pictures of this gem coming up later this week! You seriously won’t even recognize this home with the final results! It turned out even better than we hoped! Don’t you just love it when that happens? 😉
